It's safe to say that South Africa's Temba Bavuma's three-year-old wish to see Virat Kohli bat all day came true on Day two of second Test in Pune as skipper Virat Kohli went amock to lead side to a giant 601 runs total at end of first innings. Virat Kohli resumed Day two with his score below 100 and went on to finish his innings by end of day at 254 runs, toppling many records on way and surpassing many legends as well. Temba Bavuma had taken to Twitter three years earlier to say that pair of Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane were a delight to watch and that he could see m all day. This was during a contest between India and New Zealand in 2016. Well, it turns out that Temba Bavuma's dream has come true thanks to Virat Kohli, who went on to bat for whole day, displaying sheer class and brilliance. Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli stitched toger a healthy partnership after Ajinkya Rahane departed earlier in day.

Resuming his innings on Day two, skipper Virat Kohli played a magnificent kck en route to 250 runs and received good support from Ravindra Jadeja on or end. Ajinkya Rahane was dismissed for 59 runs following which Indian skipper stepped on accelerator and quickly went from scoring a 100 to a 200 and finally a 250.
