Shai Hope remembers speaking with MS Dhoni following his historic century

West Indies was in a tough spot when y were 220 for 5 at end of 40th over, still attempting to make 326 runs. Particularly after losing Shimron Hetmyer and Sherfane Rurford so quickly, visiting team, under leership of Jos Buttler, appeared to be winning. West Indies needed 106 runs in last 10 overs, which was t easy.

Still, things turned around when captain Shai Hope and new player Romario Shepherd for Mumbai Indians played great in last few overs, leing West Indies to a successful chase with seven balls to spare.

Captain Shai Hope did an amazing job, hitting 109 runs without being out in just 83 balls, with 7 sixes and 4 boundaries. Romario Shepherd was very important. In his 29-ball 48, he hit 3 sixes and 4 fours, helping to build an 89-run partnership for sixth wicket.

West Indies needed 19 runs in last two overs. Shai Hope stepped up and hit Sam Curran for three sixes in next-to-last over, leing team to victory. When Shai Hope thought about game, he remembered some good vice from former Indian captain MS Dhoni. Dhoni said it was important to remember that re is often more time than you think, especially in longer version of white-ball game. He quoted:
