Virat Kohli struggled to hit his 71st international century

Virat Kohli has always been a fan favourite, and he is in great shape going into the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Shortly, the cricket player will break Sachin Tendulkar's record for the most ODI 100s. Because of how well he has been playing lately, it looks like he will reach this milestone at the upcoming important event. Sachin Tendulkar has 49 ODI centuries, and Kohli has 47 so far and will be looking to break the record in the world competition.

Kohli had a rough patch that made it take him 1,020 days to get his 71st international century, even though most people think he is the best in the game. Kohli finally broke his runless streak when he hit a hundred against Afghanistan in the shorter version of the Asia Cup in September of last year. This was a surprise, even for Kohli himself. His amazing total of 77 centuries has grown by another six centuries since then, so no one has been able to stop him.

The last two and a half years have taught me a lot. Those angry celebrations are a thing of the past. I have had many suggestions, lots of advice has come my way; people were telling me I was doing this wrong, that wrong.

I picked out all the videos from the best time I had, same initial movement, same approach towards the ball and it was just what was happening inside my head, I wasn't able to explain it to anyone.

Although Kohli is already a batting hazard for his opponents, his combative temperament has helped him reach even greater heights on numerous occasions. His impassioned celebrations and playful banter on the pitch are evidence of his passionate personality. Kohli has always been a competitor who isn't afraid to dish it out to his opponents.
