Trent Boult has been making things difficult for Indian batsmen in ongoing Test series. In fact, top-order including likes of skipper Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara have been bearing brunt of Boult's vicious inswingers. Pujara, number three batsman, was once again at receiving end on Sunday when Kiwi left-arm pacer succeeded in breaking his defence.

Boult's brilliant inswinger breaks Pujara's defence

Trent Boult who had accounted for Cheteshwar Pujara in second innings of first Test once again got better of him during India's second innings on Day 2 of  series-deciding Test match at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Sunday. This had happened on very first delivery of 34th over. Test specialist was keeping Kiwi bowlers at bay after visitors had lost ir top-order early on and it needed something special for hosts to get rid of him and that is exactly what Boult did.

left-arm pacer bowled a beautiful delivery outside off-stump which angled in very sharply. Pujara looked to defend ball but such was brilliance of delivery that it beat his rock-solid defence and stumps were shattered. This unplayable delivery ended Gujarat cricketer's gritty kck of an 88-ball 24 and it opened up floodgates for Black Caps as Team India lost half ir side by virtue of this wicket. video was also posted on social media. Can India pull off a miracle?

India enjoyed a seven-run lead over New Zealand after bowling m out for 235 courtesy off some brilliant bowling performances from Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami who ended up with three and four scalps each. India, in ir second innings, got off to worst possible start as loss of wickets at regular intervals hampered m from setting a fighting target for Kiwis. At end of play on Day 2, Virat Kohli & Co. were reduced to 90/6 with a 97-run lead.

With Rishabh Pant and Hanuma Vihari still in middle, India would be hoping that duo would add some precious runs on board and set up a good total which will be very helpful for Indian bowlers in fourth innings.
