The English Football team captain had posted a selfie with Virat Kohli on Twitter as he wrote, 'After a few tweets in the last couple of years good to finally meet @imVkohli. A great guy and a brilliant sportsman'.

The Indian skipper appreciated Kane's tweet by saying that it was a pleasure meeting him. At the same time, he also wished the Spurs superstar all the best for the UEFA Champions League final against Liverpool which will be played on June 1.
While it is true that both the star athletes have been sharing a mutual admiration for each other since the last few years, there was one standout moment that involved both the icons.

It was the presence made by Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan that stood out. The junior Bachchan took to Twitter and make fun of Virat Kohli by posting an image of Kohli holding Chelsea's jersey.
