Updated WTC Points Table after ICC fines Australia and England; Where do India stand?
Despite the penalties, Australia managed to hold on to their third position in the standings, while England dropped down to the fifth spot.

England and Australia faced penalties in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle due to maintaining slow over-rates during the men's Ashes 2023 series. The revised regulations led to both teams being docked five percent of their match fee and losing one WTC point for every over they fell short. Australia received a deduction of 10 WTC points, while England lost a total of 19 points across four of the five Ashes Tests for falling behind in their over-rate.

WTC 2023-25: ICC imposes sanctions on England and Australia post Ashes 2023
In the ongoing WTC 2023-25, Australia faced a tough challenge against England in the 5th Ashes Test but unfortunately lost the match. Despite the loss, Australia managed to hold on to their third position in the standings with 43.33 percentage points. The game proved to be beneficial for England as it helped them gain valuable WTC points, bringing them at par with Australia.
However, ICC penalties have since been imposed on England, causing them to drop to the fifth spot with 15 PCT. Australia are still on the third position but saw their PCT drop to 30.

India currently holds the second position in the standings with 66.67 percentage points, and West Indies are now positioned fourth with 16.67 PCT. Meanwhile, Pakistan displayed an impressive performance in the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka, securing a dominant victory by an innings and 222 runs. This win propelled Pakistan to the top of the WTC standings with a perfect 100 PCT.

As for Bangladesh, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and South Africa, they are yet to begin their matches in the ongoing WTC 2023-25 cycle.
