Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019: Gujarat vs Tamil Nadu match report
Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019 semi-final between Gujarat and Tamil Nadu was played today at the Just Cricket Academy Ground. The final is scheduled for October 25.

After one month and more than 150 List-A matches in country, ongoing 18th edition of Vijay Hazare Trophy finally reached its kck-out st earlier today. In second of two semi-final matches scheduled for day, Gujarat faced Tamil Nu at Just Cricket Acemy Ground in Bengaluru. Reigning champions Mumbai failed to reach final four st after y stood fifth on Elite Group A and B points table with just four wins out of ir eight games. Before match, Tamil Nu captain Dinesh Karthik won toss and decided to put Gujarat into bat.

Due to wet outfield, match was reduced to 40 overs. Gujarat side lost both ir openers at just 16 runs on board with ir captain Parthiv Patel scoring 13 of m. Dhruv Raval top-scored with 40 runs from 37 balls. After 40 overs, Gujarat team could only man to put 177-9 with Tamil Nu’s bowler Mohammed accounting for three of ir wickets. Washington Sundar, Natarajan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Murugan Ashwin and Baba Aparajith picked a wicket each.

Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019: Tamil Nu innings
Tamil Nu batsmen got off to a slow start, scoring just 70 runs after ir first 20 overs. y soon lost ir captain Dinesh Karthik to leave Tamil Nu struggling at 96-5. However, an 85-run unbeaten partnership between Washington Sundar and Shahrukh Khan saw m reach target without any furr dam. Tamil Nu reached ir target in 39 overs with five wickets in hand.

2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy Final
As Karnataka defeated Chhattisgarh in first semi-final, Tamil Nu will w be facing Karnataka for title clash on October 25. final match is scheduled to start at 9:00 AM and will be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stium in Bengaluru.
