India's all-rounder Vijay Shankar gave a befitting reply to his critics who picked on his fitness and techniques as he shared a picture of his transformation from no muscles to a completely ripped player. Vijay Shankar, who was last seen at the World Cup, is recovering from his injury that forced him to withdraw midway from the World Cup. The fiery all-rounder was picked in the
Indian side following a few noticeable international performances alongside a spectacular IPL season. In the World Cup, Vijay Shankar drew a lot of flak from the fans after he failed to fire all cylinders and eventually was left out due to injury. Even before the World cup campaign began, Vijay Shankar's name was marred in controversy after he was picked ahead of Ambati Rayudu and was justified by chief selector MSK Prasad as a three-dimensional player.

No regrets on 3D comment says Ambati Rayudu

Ambati Rayudu said that he has no regrets about his "3D" jibe at chairman of selectors MSK Prasad after being dropped from the World Cup squad.  The stylish right-hander was in the fray to be picked as No.4 for India's World Cup campaign before being ignored. He courted controversy by posting the infamous '3D' tweet and later announced the decision to quit all forms of cricket after Mayank Agarwal was preferred as a replacement for an injured Vijay Shankar though he was in the stand-bys. "Just ordered a new set of 3d glasses to watch the World Cup," he tweeted on April 16, in an apparent reference to chief selector MSK Prasad's remark that Vijay Shankar was preferred because of his "three-dimensional" abilities. The Andhra batsman had shocked the fans by announcing his retirement from all forms of the game midway through the World Cup after he was snubbed on more than one occasion by the selectors.
