Virat Kohli and co will be treated to crowds for Boxing Day Test: Victorian Premier
It has been confirmed that Virat Kohli and co will face Australia on December 26 for the Boxing Day Test, which will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

After much back and forth about location of Boxing Day Test 2020 against Australia this December, it seems that it is w a certainty that historic game will be hosted at its home, Melbourne Cricket Ground. Boxing Day Test has been a trition in Australian cricket since 1950s and has been played every year since 1980. It was feared that match could be shifted to elaide due to massive spre of coronavirus in Melbourne's state of Victoria.

Virat Kohli and co might finally get to play in front of an audience if all goes well in Australia by December. With Victoria lockdown lifted, things are slowly returning to rmal and sport may be a part of that rmalcy. Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews confirmed via cricket.com.au, "I am very confident that we will get a crowd at MCG for Boxing Day Test. I don't kw how big it will be but re will be a crowd, that's vice that I have, that's what we're working towards."
While most or sporting events in city and in world have been taking place without any audiences, India vs Australia 2020 series might be open to public. specifics - wher it will be a crowd at full capacity or a select one like at French Open - have t been me clear yet, but it is "all but guaranteed" that re will be people.

re has been some talk around India's tour of Australia in winter (Australian summer). It was reported that BCCI h asked for New Year's Day Test, which generally takes place on January 2 every year, to be delayed so that players could get equate rest between games.

This issue seems to be regarding fact that some state governments are unwilling to allow team to practise in nets or train in any way while y undergo ir mandatory quarantine. India are scheduled to play three T20Is, three ODIs and four Tests in series. First Test is scheduled to begin on December 7. squ should be anunced soon, as contenders for Test that aren't a part of Dream11 IPL 2020 have been flown to Dubai for training.
