Indian captain Virat Kohli turned 31 on Tuesday. The run-machine is one of the most popular cricketers around and naturally, the entire cricket fraternity wished the southpaw on his special day. Virat Kohli turns 31: Adelaide sends some love

Former Australian Women Captain Lisa Sthalekar wished captain Kohli by posting a picture with him. Adelaide Cricket Ground, one of Virat Kohli's favourite hunting grounds, wished Kohli by posting a picture of their scoreboard which had Happy Birthday Virat from Adelaide written on it. The ground's official twitter account further added that they would love to see him back in 2020 when India tour Australia again.

Virat Kohli turns 31: Former teammates wish Captain Kohli

Virat Kohli's India teammate Suresh Raina wished the batting maestro on his birthday. He asked Kohli to keep doing what he does best, which is to score more runs and achieve more glory. Leg spinner Amit Mishra also wished captain Kohli on Twitter. Batsman Manoj Tiwary also wished Kohli, calling him an "absolute master at his craft"

Virat Kohli turns 31: Enjoying a well-deserved break

Virat Kohli is currently enjoying a well-deserved rest and is not part of India's T20I squad for the home series against Bangladesh. He will return to lead the side in the Tests against their neighbours. Kohli is the only second captain to lead India in 50 Test matches and is India's most successful Test skipper with 31 wins
