Indian skipper Virat Kohli will most likely sit out of the T20 series against Bangladesh in November, sources said according to media reports. The Indian skipper, who has not taken a break since the World Cup, will return for the longer format of the game against the Tigers but will reportedly sit out of the T20 series. According to sources as per media reports, Virat Kohli will be given a break from non-stop cricketing action that he has been a part of including the IPL, tour of Australia, World Cup, the tour of West Indies and South Africa's tour. The break, according to the source, is much needed for Virat Kohli so that he remains fresh and at the top of his game, as India has already started preparations for the World T20 in Australia next year. In addition to this, India will also look to consolidate and extend their lead at the top of the Test Championship table and hence the skipper's presence is much required throughout the team's campaign in the longer format of the game.

Virat Kohli laughs as Proteas lose toss yet again
Nothing seemed to work out for South Africa as they lost the toss in the third Test even though Temba Bavuma made the call in place of skipper Faf DuPlessis. India's skipper Virat Kohli along with presenter Murali Karthik burst into laughter as soon as the Indian skipper won the toss, making it the ninth consecutive time that Faf DuPlessis has lost the toss in India. Faf DuPlessis had expressed his intentions to send his deputy Temba Bavuma out to call for the toss in his place to break the jinx but even that did not work out for the Proteas skipper. Virat Kohli, who elected to bat first in Ranchi, called it a 'no brainer' to bat first in the third and final Test, as India will hope to complete the whitewash and extend their lead at the top of the Test Championship.

Sourav Ganguly to meet the selectors
The new BCCI President-elect will meet the selectors on October 24, a day after he will assume charge officially as the Board's President, to pick the team for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh. Sourav Ganguly had earlier revealed that he will also be addressing the future of former skipper MS Dhoni with the selectors. "I will find out from the selectors when I meet them on October 24. We will find out what the selectors are thinking and then I will put forth my opinion. We will have to see what Dhoni wants. I will also speak to him about what he wants to do and what he does not want to do. Since I was not in the picture, it may be a case that it's not clear with me as of now. Now I will be in a position to find out and then will decide on the way forward", said Sourav Ganguly.
