Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav wants the general public to take a glance at his cricketing career for a change and gave the fans and followers of the game a fitting reason to dwell over his cricket journey. The RJD leader recently claimed that he was a decent player in his time and once the captain of the squad where Virat Kohli also featured.

Tejashwi Yadav Claims Virat Kohli Played Under His Captaincy

Tejashwi Yadav also mentioned that not only Virat Kohli he also played alongside many other players as well who later went on to play for Team India.

“I was a cricketer and no one talks about it. Virat Kohli played under my captaincy. Did anyone ever talk about it? Why don’t they do so? As a professional, I played good cricket. Many Team India players are my batchmates,” the RJD leader said in an interview to ZEE media.

Yadav continued and also revealed the reason that compelled him to step away from cricket.

“I had to quit as my both ligaments were fractured. Let it be,” he said.
