Virat Kohli who is playing his 51st Test as Skipper, on Monday went past Mohamm Azharuddin as Indian captain who has enforced maximum follow-ons in Test cricket after visitors were forced to bat again on Day 3 of Ranchi Test. Azharuddin h also enforced a follow-on against South Africa twice in home series against Sri Lanka back in 1993–94.
Kohli enforced follow-on for 8th time as captain of India whereas Azharuddin h done it 7 times followed by MS Dhoni and Sourav Ganguly who have enforced it 5 and 4 times, respectively. Earlier, in Pune Test, Virat Kohli equaled him by enforcing follow-on, w, he surpassed him at Ranchi.
