Indian cricket team has already begun ir preparation for next year's T20 World cup to be held in Australia. y enjoyed a successful stint in West indies and have drawn T20 home series against South Africa. Skipper Virat Kohli and rest of Indian manment have given a host of youngsters a chance to impress in series against Proteas. likes of Shreyas Iyer, Khaleel Ahmed, Rishabh Pant, Manish Pandey and Navdeep Saini have been given an opportunity in limited-overs side.

Virat Kohli's opinion on current Indian squad

"re are a lot of T20s and Tests before T20 World Cup next year, and we are pushing youngsters into system at every possible chance because it is important to finalize on a system. This also gives you an idea as to who are players who can take philosophy of team forward. focus is on selecting players that can take team vision forward and maintain it," Virat Kohli said in an interview shared by BCCI.tv.

MS Dhoni's role in Indian cricket team remains unclear

Since end of this year's World Cup in England, MS Dhoni has t been included in Indian squad. World Cup-winning captain is rumoured to be on verge of anuncing his retirement from national setup. Rishabh Pant has so far been first-choice wicketkeeper in Dhoni's absence. Delhi youngster has had a poor run so far and is under pressure to retain his spot in team.
