Virat Kohli's good low catch gets rid of South Africa's nightwatchman

Virat Kohli took a good low catch by diving to his right as he got rid of South Africa's nightwatchman Anrich Notje. The Proteas were bundled out for 275.

Virat Kohli has had an excellent outing in the ongoing Test match against South Africa at Pune. Coming into the second Test match, India were pumped up after their comprehensive 203-run victory margin at Vizag. Meanwhile, Kohli the batsman and captain both made his presence felt in the second Test match. Kohli remained unbeaten on a magnificent 254 as India declared their innings at 601/5. Before stumps on Day 2, the hosts had reduced the Proteas to 36/3. However, on Day 3 of the Test match, Virat Kohli the fielder had also made an impact.

Kohli takes a good low catch 

It happened during the 18th over of South Africa's first innings which was bowled by Mohammed Shami. On the second delivery, Shami had bowled a back of the length delivery to Anrich Notje which was closer to his body. Notje tried to play a defensive shot but the ball took the outside edge and went towards the slips. Indian skipper Virat Kohli who was fielding at the fourth slip dived to his right and took a good low catch as Mohammed Shami got his second scalp and South African skipper Faf du Plessis' idea of promoting a nightwatchman was foiled. Wriddhiman Saha completes a jaw-dropping catch

Wriddhiman Saha took a spectacular catch behind the wicket to get rid of South Africa's de Bruyn, reducing the visitors to half their side on Day three of the second Test on Saturday. It was Shami who had once again provided a vital breakthrough just when India were gunning for a wicket. Theunis as De Bruyn managed to edge the ball to Wriddhiman Saha, who leaped to complete a magnificent catch.

India end Day 3 on a high note

India finished Day three on a high and positive note as they bowled out South Africa for 275 runs, carrying a mammoth lead of 326 runs on to Day Four of the second Test. Ravichandran Ashwin picked up four scalps along with Umesh Yadav's three scalps to restrict South Africa from going past 300 runs. Tailenders Keshav Maharaj and Vernon Philander tried to hold the fort for the Proteas by playing a watchful inning but fell prey to Ravichandran Ashwin, who wrapped up the first innings for the visitors. Keshav Maharaj top-scored for South Africa with 72 runs followed by skipper Faf Du Plessis's 64 and Vernon Philander's 44.

India's decision as to whether the follow-on should be enforced or otherwise has not been made yet and be expected to be made before the game commences on Day Four.
