Wasim Jaffer gains 200k Twitter followers, remembers Snoop Dogg while thanking them: WATCH

Wasim Jaffer took to Twitter and shared a hysterical video to commemorate the occasion of reaching 200,000 followers on the micro-blogging site.

Former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer has been immensely active on Twitter since  Dream11 IPL 2020. Indian veteran has certainly upped his social media game and is displaying his funny side to fans by sharing memes and trolls to describe certain situations. Jaffer Twitter account has become a fan favourite.

Jaffer's wicked sense of humour has helped him reach a huge milestone in world of social media, much like Virender Sehwag did after he retired from international cricket in 2015. Mumbai stalwart on Tuesday crossed 200k followers on Twitter and same was achieved in a very short span of time.

To commemorate occasion of reaching 200k followers, Jaffer took to Twitter to share  news and expressed gratitude to all his followers for helping him achieve feat. Along with mess, he also shared a hysterical video to thank all people who helped him gain unique number. Jaffer shared famous “I want to thank me" speech video by American rapper Sop Dogg. He furr cheekily informed his fans about his presence on Instagram and shared link as well.

In video, rapper says, "I want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work. I wanna thank me for having days off. I wanna thank me for never quitting. I wanna thank me for always been a giver and trying to give more than I receive. I want to thank me for trying to do more right than wrong. I want to thank me for just being me at all times."

Wasim Jaffer chooses his playing XI for 1st Test vs England

Recently, Jaffer took to Twitter and shared his views on what India's playing XI should look like for first India vs England Test in Chennai. Jaffer has kept an in-form Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma as his openers for first Test. Gill was exceptional in Australia series as he gave India decent starts on most occasions and looked pretty comfortable against a tough Australian attack. On or hand, although Rohit Sharma h an aver series Down Under, he also found a place in Jaffer's playing XI because of his impeccable record at home.

At . 3, Jaffer put reliable Cheteshwar Pujara followed by Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane, which is a brainer considering kind of experience and record y have at home. At . 6,  former cricketer picked Rishabh Pant as wicketkeeper of side over Wriddhiman Saha, which doesn't come as a surprise after southpaw's stunning batting display in Australia.

Jaffer n went on to omit one of heroes of historic Gabba Test, Washington Sundar and named Axar Patel over him as all-rounder in side.  former batsman went on to choose R Ashwin as his first-choice spinner and was in a fix between Kuldeep Yav and Shardul Thakur.

Jaffer named Jasprit Bumrah to le India's pace attack in first Test but was confused between Mohammed Siraj and Ishant Sharma for second pacer's role.  42-year old who was confused with two spots clarified that selection should depend based on pitch and conditions in Chennai. He also justified his selection of Kuldeep Yav by pointing out England's weakness against left-arm spinners.
