The captain of Australia, Alyssa Healy has opened up on the viral moment that transpired after India-W had beaten Australia-W in one off Test.

After the one-off Test against India Women at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, December 24, Australia Women skipper Alyssa Healy spoke about her position as a cameraperson for the champions. The reaction came after Healy took a photo of Indian players in front of the 'champions' banner, which quickly went viral on the internet.

Alyssa Healy captures Team India's historic moment

On what could be defined as a historic day for India Women's team, Aussie captain Alyssa Healy showcased a great gesture of sportsperson's spirit. The player turned cameraperson and took the photo of Indian players as they were posing in front of the champions banner. Noticing the incident, BCCI shared the video of it with the following caption.

“Spirit of Cricket. Australia Captain Alyssa Healy on that gesture to a special moment, ft. Team India.”

Healy opens up on taking the pic of Indian team

The moment has since gone viral and Healy has been receiving immense praise from the Indian fans on social media. In the post-match media address segment, Healy was asked about it, and she said that ing the picture wasn't her primary intention, but she did it anyway. Moreover, she doubts that the pic will be of any use as she claims she cut out half of the members from the frame.

“Wasn’t my camera, I was just pushing the cameraman back. So, I thought give them one more opportunity to get up there nice and close, but I actually cut out half of the Indian team by accident. So, I don’t think they’ll be using it now.”

For the unversed, India Women won the Test by eight wickets to register their first-ever Test match victory against Australia Women.
