England captain Jos Buttler takes a bizarre review
In what could be described as yet another case of a bizarre review, England captain Jos Buttler referred a decision which was clear not out from the naked eye. During one instance from the game, Glenn Phillips, who top-scored for the Kiwis in the match, was on the crease facing the deliveries of Liam Livingstone. The medium pacer pitched the ball up, which was defended fairly by Phillips. Buttler, who was behind the stumps evidently thought that the ball had brushed the pad before meeting the bat and asked the onfield umpire about it, the official displayed no interest in it and hence Eng skipper took the decision upstairs. The replays cleared the misconception of Buttler as it was showcased that the ball had hit the middle of the bat.
