Siraj wreaks havoc on Sri Lanka

The game started with an excellent maiden over by Siraj, right after Jasprit Bumrah removed Sri Lanka's opener Kusal Perera in the very first over. What followed was a remarkable display of bowling in the history of One-Day Cricket. Siraj, in a single over, took four crucial wickets, wreaking havoc on Sri Lanka's batting lineup.

Siraj's first victim was opener Pathum Nissanka, with Ravindra Jadeja taking an outstanding catch at backward point. Next, he dismissed the in-form Sadeera Samarawickrama lbw on the third ball of his over. He removed Charith Asalanka on the 4th ball. After conceding a boundary on the penultimate delivery of the over, Siraj made a stunning comeback as Dhananjaya de Silva was caught behind, leaving Sri Lanka struggling at 12 for 5.
