WATCH: Pak's Babar Azam scores a 50 and gets run-out on the same ball

Babar Azam was run out after getting to his half-century on the very same delivery by David Warner in the 2nd T20 against Australia at the Manuka Oval.

Babar Azam once again showed why he is top-ranked batsman in shortest format of game as he rescued his team in second T20I against Australia at Manuka Oval in Canberra on Tuesday. Babar continued from where he h left off in first match having scored an unbeaten 59 at Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday. He steied ship when Men In Green h lost wickets of Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail. He scored an excellent 38-ball 50 at a strike rate of 131.58 before his stay at crease came to an abrupt end.

It happened in 16th over of first innings which was bowled by Ashton Agar. On final delivery, Babar Azam who was batting in 49 looked to complete his half-century with a quick double. neless, it was a risky double which turned out to be very costly in end. Azam flicked ball towards wide of deep mid-wicket and called for two straightaway. David Warner who is one of best fielders in Australian side covered  ground and threw  ball at keeper's end. Pakistan, who are currently top-ranked T20I side have t h a good time in game's shortest format so far. In fact, y have t won any T20I series this year. After winning 11 consecutive T20I series under captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed, Pakistan h lost an away series against South Africa earlier this year and were whitewashed at home by Sri Lanka recently after which Sarfaraz was sacked from captaincy and was replaced by Babar Azam in shortest format. Meanwhile, Pakistan will be looking to make amends in ongoing series and prove why y are number one T20I side.
