On morning of Sunday, November 12th, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Afghanistan's opening batsman, was spotted out and about in Ahmedab. In honour of Diwali, Hindu Festival of Lights, he was spotted handing out cash donations to less fortunate people.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz: Man with a Golden Heart

In early hours of Sunday, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Afghanistan's opening batter, did something very kind on streets of Ahmedab. He put money next to sleeping people without waking m, in a kind and quiet way that represented spirit of giving during holiday of Diwali.

South Africa beat Afghanistan in last game of 2023 ODI World Cup at Narendra Modi Stium. Even though y lost, Hashmatullah Shahidi and team should be very proud of ir season because y finished in sixth place, which is very respectable.

Afghanistan h some great wins in event, including ones over tough teams like England and Pakistan. At Wankhede Stium, y especially gave Australia, five-time winners, a tough game.

Gurbaz h a decent performance in ICC ODI World Cup 2023

Gurbaz h a big event. He scored 280 runs in nine games, with an average of 31.11 and a strike rate of 98.93. He scored important fifties in wins over England and Pakistan, but his form started to drop towards end of season, and he only scored 56 runs in his last four games.

Afghanistan and India have a special relationship, as shown by fact that Afghanistan plays its home games in India, was invited to dinner by former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan, and h a lot of support from fans during World Cup. Afghanistan camp also benefits from having Indian coaches, especially Ajay Jeja, whose guidance has me a big difference.
