WATCH: Ravichandran Ashwin bats left-handed; fans say 'Rishabh Pant!'

India's young wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has been the centre of attention for quite a while now, given his high-profile as heir-apparent to MS Dhoni, and this frequently sees him being trolled when he doesn't manage to live up  However, this time he has been critiqued yet again, but for no error or mistake of his own. Indian spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin during the first Test match between India and Bangladesh at the Holkar stadium in Indore played a few throwdowns with his left hand instead of his usual right hand. The comment sections of the video shared by the Team India official Instagram handle witnessed some serious Rishabh Pant trolling. As fans of the game hailed Ashwin for playing left-handed as well, they joked that he may be an alternative to Pant.

Ravi Ashwin bowls leg-break

Ravichandra Ashwin has always tried to bring variations in his bowling to get the best of the pitch and his game as well. Recently, during the first test match between India and Bangladesh, the off-spinner was seen practising some leg break balls in the tea break on the first day. Not only did he bowl leg-spin, but also hit the wickets a few times. However, this is not the first time that the off-spin bowler has tried leg-spin. Ashwin was seen bowling several leggies in the IPL season last year.

Magical Mayank registers second Test 200

It seems like a fairy tale for Test opener Mayank Agarwal, as the Karnataka lad brought up his second Test double century with a magnificent six against Bangladesh on Friday at Indore. The fiery opener breached the double ton mark in 303 balls, laced with 25 boundaries and five sixes at a strike rate of 65.77. This is Mayank Agarwal's second Test double ton in two consecutive series.  Mayank Agarwal helped India regain control over the game after losing Virat Kohli and Pujara early on Day two. Along with Ajinkya Rahane, Agarwal stitched an important partnership for India and made sure the hosts were ahead of the visitors.
