The youngster notched a brilliant 79 off just 45 and helped his side complete their successful chase despite a shaky start. While for the Patriots, Chris Gayle’s belligerent 86 off 65 balls, went in vain as his team could only manage a score of 146 runs.

The left-arm pacer Sohail Tanvir pacer was instrumental in restricting Patriots to the low total, giving away just 24 runs and picking up a crucial wicket. However, his actions might earn him a lengthy sanction on the sidelines when the league investigates the player's conduct.
