'We Beat Them in All Departments': USA Player Trolls Pakistan after T20 World Cup Win

The T20 World Cup 2024 turned out to be a forgettable experience for Pakistan cricket, with one of the tournament's most shocking moments being their upset loss to the USA. The underdogs from America pulled off a thrilling victory that not only stunned the cricket world but also sparked some bold words from USA’s pacer Ali Khan.

USA player trolls Pakistan

Reflecting on the famous win, Ali Khan shared his thoughts in a recent interview, stating that his team outplayed the Babar Azam -led Pakistan in every aspect of the game.

"We weren't under pressure; they were," said Ali Khan. "We knew we were capable of beating them. We beat Pakistan in all four departments, including fitness." His confidence was clear as he emphasized how the USA had a firm grip on the match from the start.

"We are capable enough of beating them (the Men in Green) again. No disrespect to them, but I think we are a really good side. If we have a full-strength squad, we can beat any team on our day, not just Pakistan . It will be a great game if we play them again," he added.

The USA's victory wasn’t a straightforward one, though. After restricting Pakistan to 159/7 in their 20 overs, the Americans were well on their way to chasing the target, reaching 111 runs in just 14 overs. However, they faltered towards the end of the innings, finishing with 159 runs and forcing the game into a dramatic super over.

In the super over, the USA dominated once again, scoring a solid 18 runs and then restricting Pakistan to just 13, sealing a memorable victory and marking one of the biggest upsets in T20 World Cup history.

The victory has not only boosted the USA's confidence but also made a clear statement that on their day, they can take down even the biggest teams in world cricket.
