‘We Don’t Talk About...’: Virat Kohli Praises Jasprit Bumrah’s Unique Talent; Gambhir Also Weighs In

Jasprit Bumrah 's fast-bowling heroics have enhances the Indian Cricket fans' love for the bowlers. Throughout the T20 World Cup , India's bowling attack was critical in winning matches as Bumrah spearheaded the pace attack. Bumrah's fandom has increased since then and he has been deemed as India's national treasure. Not just the fans, but his teammates have also heaped praise over the star Indian fast bowler. Team India batter Virat Kohli acknowledged Bumrah's greatness, with Gautam Gambhir also chiming in with a one-worded response.

Virat Kohli Praises Jasprit Bumrah , Coach Gambhir Joins in the Recognition

The BCCI shared a video on X (Formerly Twitter) which featured Delhi boys Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli in a freewheeling conversation for the first time ever. Both of them spoke on various subjects and they also touched upon the team's bowlers. Kohli had immense praise for India's T20 World Cup hero Jasprit Bumrah as he complimented the bowler, calling him a complete all-format bowler.

"When we speak about Bumrah, we don't talk about his T20 Yorkers. Yesterday, We were talking about this. He is the most complete all-format bowler," Virat Kohli said while speaking to Gautam Gambhir .

Gautam Gambhir also agreed to what Kohli said and said 'Yes' when Kohli was heaping praise on Bumrah.

During the press conference, Gambhir heaped laurels on Bumrah's name, saying that he is the best fast bowler in the world and how great it is to have him a game-changer in the team dressing room.

"Bumrah is smart in Test cricket. It is good these guys are changing the trend. Bumrah is the best fast bowler in the world, across formats. It's great to have Bumrah in the dressing room, someone who can change the game at any point in time," Gambhir said at the media briefing in Chennai.

Virat Kohli is a part of the first match between India and Bangladesh series, with Gautam Gambhir leading the mentorship charge as the head coach. The Men in Blue will begin their red-balls season at home as they will lock horns against Bangladesh in a two-match Test series.
