English cricket team pacer Stuart Broad announced his retirement from international cricket after the Day three of the fifth Ashes 2023 Test against Australia. Broad finished his Test career with 604 Test wickets, and he ended his career on a memorable note after picking up the last two wickets of the match.

Stuart Broad begins his new innings off the cricket field
After entertaining the fans on the field, the former English pacer will be seen pleasing the fans with his wonderful voice in the commentary box. Broad will be seen doing commentary for Sky Sports in England's local domestic competition, 'Hundred. The second edition of the tournament began on August 1, 2023.

Stuart Broad's humble words before retirement
The former English pacer surprised his fans by announcing a sudden retirement from international cricket while taking in an interview with Sky Sports after the Day 3 of the fifth Ashes 2023 Test. Broad said:
It's been a wonderful ride, a huge privilege to wear the Nottinghamshire and the England badge as much as I have. And I'm loving cricket as much as I ever have. It's been such a wonderful series to be a part of, and I've always wanted to finish at the top. And this series just feels like it's been one of the most enjoyable and entertaining I've been a part of.

Stuart Broad finished as the second-highest wicket-taker in the Ashes 2023 series against Australia and picked up 22 wickets from five tests. He also improved his record against Aussie opener David Warner and wherein before the series Broad had dismissed Warner 14 times whereas at the end of the Ashes 2023 series, the tally rose up to 17.
