Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is one of original eight franchises that launched inaugural edition of  Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008. With three IPL titles and two Champions League Twenty20 wins, y are second most successful franchise after Mumbai Indians in IPL history. While y were owned by India Cements for first 10 years, franchise has been transferred to a separate entity named Chennai Super Kings Cricket Ltd.
