Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) was supposed to begin with its last leg on Tuesday when final four teams were supposed to play in two semi-finals to decide two finalists. However, in a sudden turn of events - last three matches of PSL were postponed to a later date. That anuncement was soon followed by reports emerging that this sudden halt of PSL came after a player in league tested positive for vel coronavirus. However, se reports are t accurate.

PSL 2020 Cancelled: Why was PSL semi final cancelled?
According to a press release by Pakistan Cricket Board on PSL website, PSL's remaining fixtures have t been cancelled but pushed to a later date in light of current fears revolving around COVID-19. In press release, PCB has mentioned how an overseas player who had left Pakistan only a few days ago had been showing signs of COVID-19 and this had led PCB to bring a sudden halt to PSL 2020. PCB has furr made a move towards testing all members of PSL team including players, umpires, officials, team owners and production crew.

PSL 2020 cancelled: Is PSL 2020 cancelled?
PSL 2020 has t been cancelled but will be resumed and completed at a time when coronavirus subsides. A lot of foreign players had already left Pakistan as PCB gave m option to leave country and PSL if y were in fear of coronavirus. English batsman Alex Hales was one of PSL foreign players to take an early exit from tournament and country.
