'We don’t ask for luxury but...' Hardik Pandya slams West Indies cricket's hospitality
Hardik Pandya, the stand-in captain for Team India in the last two ODIs, called on Cricket West Indies to improve their facilities for visiting teams.

India on Tuesday defeated the West Indies in the 3rd and final ODI to take the series home 2-1. India won the game by a massive margin of 200 runs thanks to some power-packed performances from Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, and Mukesh Kumar. After India's convincing 200-run victory in the third ODI at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad, Pandya openly acknowledged their displeasure with the arrangements done by Cricket West Indies.

WI vs IND: Hardik Pandya slams Cricket West Indies
Hardik Pandya, the stand-in captain for Team India in the last two ODIs, called on Cricket West Indies to improve their facilities for visiting teams in the future. He expressed disappointment over the lack of "basic necessities" during the ongoing tour.
Earlier, there were reports of Indian players expressing dissatisfaction with the travel arrangements ahead of the first ODI in Barbados. Some team members had even written to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) requesting to avoid booking night flights due to delays.

"This was one of the nicest grounds we have played. Things can be better when we come to West Indies next time. From traveling to managing a lot of things. Last year also, some hiccups happened. I think it's time for West Indies Cricket to take note of it and make sure that when a team travels. We don’t ask for luxury but we need some basic necessities taken care of. Other than that, really enjoyed coming here and playing some good cricket," Hardik said.

WI vs IND: India record comprehensive victory in 3rd ODI
With a comprehensive win in Trinidad, India secured a 2-1 series victory after facing pressure following their loss in the second ODI in Barbados. Nonetheless, they bounced back with a clinical effort to avoid any further embarrassment. India will now lock horns against the West Indies in a five-match T20I series. The first T20I is scheduled to be played in Tarouba on August 3. The second and third T20Is is slated to be held in the United States on August 6 and 8 respectively.
