An elderly fan was seen cheering for India with great enthusiasm. Yes, you have heard it right. This cricket fan showed her love and passion for the sport in the final overs of the Indian innings when Rishabh Pant and MS Dhoni were batting as she rooted for Pant after the southpaw had hit a boundary.

Team India are looking to consolidate their semifinal spot against Bangladesh during their ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 clash at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bangladesh are looking to keep their semis hopes alive by stunning the two-time World Champions. 

Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first. The Men In Blue got off to a flying start as openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma got India off to a flying start and put on 180 runs for the first wicket. However, apart from the action on the field, there was also some action off the field as well.

She was seen rooting for Pant after the southpaw hit a boundary. Soon after, she grabbed the spotlight and the video of her cheering became viral.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma played a classy knock of 104 in 92 deliveries. He became the first Indian batsman to register four centuries in the same World Cup.  Moreover, the 32-year-old also became the top-scorer of the current tournament with 544 runs, 28 ahead of  David Warner. 

Bangladesh bowlers bowled a tight spell as India were restricted to 314/9 in their 50 overs.
