England h one of worst World Cup campaigns

England could only man three wins against Pakistan, Nerlands and Banglesh as y finished seventh in tournament. Buttler's performance was particularly pretty concerning as England batter couldn't even record a half century in entire World Cup. Buttler's awful display might have h a long lasting effect on England's World Cup plans. Following ir disappointing World Cup, Buttler led England will w face West Indies in a three match ODI series.

re were calls to remove him from leership role but manment kept ir trust in player and onus will be on him w to find some form in upcoming series. He insisted that despite World Cup performance he is pretty optimistic as re's always something to look forward to.

Jos Buttler opens up on World Cup failures

As quoted by Sky Sports he said, "It's this easy to be captain hindsight. Say you got XYZ wrong, when if you don't play well eugh to try and implement your plan, decisions can maybe become a little bit irrelevant. I always think of Ben Stokes' words to Jofra about super over: whatever happens here doesn't define you and I certainly don't feel like that World Cup is defining moment for me.

"It's a huge disappointment but it doesn't define me as a person or my whole career. So, just use it as something to make sure I look forward w and enjoy challenges ahe. Life moves on, world moves on pretty fast. re's always something to look forward to. It's never as b as you think it is and it's never as good as you think it is."
