Australian cricketers reportedly liked a derogatory meme on the Indian Cricket Team after World Cup final defeat.

The Indian Cricket Team left the Narendra Modi Stadium with a heavy heart following their ODI World Cup defeat at the hands of Australia. On the back of dominant performances in the tournament, the Men in Blue had the perfect opportunity to end their trophy drought at the ICC events. But the Aussies proved their supremacy once again as they brought out their very best in the summit clash.

Australian Instagram handle posted a derogatory meme after the World Cup loss
There have been a few controversial celebrations from the Australian cricketers as Mitchell Marsh has been criticised for keeping his feet on the ODI World Cup trophy. Now it has emerged that a post on Instagram has taken the social media by storm. An Australian Instagram handle named the Betoota Advocate shared a derogatory post about the Indian team and Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, and former Australian skipper Aaron Finch reportedly liked that post. The handle shared a picture and captioned it "South Australia Man Gives Birth To World Record 11 Sons.'

The picture had the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as newborn babies while ODI World Cup final centurion Travis Head's face was morphed as the mother lying on the bed. Australian skipper Pat Cummins dropped laughing emoticons in the comment section of the post.
The post triggered a lot of criticism as people slammed the Instagram handle for posting such a disrespectful meme on social media.

India lost to Australia in the World Cup final
Australia had an all-round performance in the World Cup final as the Pat Cummins led Aussies side defeated the home side in a one sided final. Team India read the pitch in the wrong way and faltered in front of the Australian bowling lineup and could only manage 240 runs on the board. Led by Travis Head's maiden century in the World Cup final, they hardly had any issues while chasing the score in the second innings.
