During an appearance on Star Sports, India women skipper Harmanpreet Kaur opened up on team's mental persistence ahe of ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 in UAE. Indian Women's skipper stated that team has turned its attention to finishing task at hand after a few slip-ups in last four or five overs.

"We have been working on mental strength for a long time. last 3-4 overs are most crucial. T20 cricket is t a small format; at end of day, you are playing 40 overs.

“In last 4-5 overs, team that is mentally strong wins match. We have been focusing on this for a while. If we can remain mentally stable in those final 5 overs, we can execute what’s best for us. We are working on those aspects, and hopefully, we will overcome this hurdle in tournament,” Harmanpreet Kaur said.
