Iftikhar Ahmed came to the crease following the departure of Saud Shakeel who was trapped in front of the wicket by Kuldeep Yadav. Iftikhar was the subject of another brilliant delivery by the left arm spinner as he was shell-shocked at the nature of his dismissal.
