Hence, if the match does not start at the scheduled time of 8 PM, the officials will wait for 4 hours and 10 minutes. At any moment during this span, if conditions become conducive for play, then a full 40-over game will be played. However, in the case otherwise, overs will start to cut from 12:10 AM IST. A minimum of 10 overs per side game is imperative. Thus, every possible effort will be made for the play to be carried out.
