'Art of discipline': Shubman Gill's SENSATIONAL Insta post puts rift rumors with Rohit Sharma to bed

On account of his sudden release from the reserves section of Team India's T20 World Cup 2024 side, a slew of rumors about Shubman Gill pervaded the social media space. Following his marching orders, speculations came to life that Gill has been sent back due to some disciplinary issues. Subsequently, assertions of a possible rift between him and India captain Rohit Sharma were also formed. However, as the time has come for Shubman Gill to wish Team India good luck for the rest of the competition, he did not go before addressing the striking reports of him being accountable for some disciplinary concerns.

Shubman Gill posts a picture standing alongside Rohit Sharma

Shubman Gill gave the reports a pinch of humor. On Sunday, he posted a story on Instagram, which features a still of him standing alongside Rohit Sharma and his daughter Samaira. Along with the picture he left a caption which distinctly highlights that he is aware of the trending stories about him. He wrote, "Sammy and I learning the art of discipline from Rohit Sharma".

While the picture somewhat addresses the speculations but both Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are still not in each other's Instagram follow list.

T20 World Cup 2024: Team India flawlessly qualifies for Super Eight stage

After beating Ireland, Pakistan, USA, and closing out with a no result with Canada, Team India has topped Group A of the T20 World Cup 2024. Rohit Sharma-led side has faced struggles in batting but bowling has been top notch and courtesy of that India have stormed into the Super 8 stage. The competition is about to get intense as Australia, England, and an aplomb Afghanistan are waiting for India in the Super 8s. India will take on Afghanistan on June 20, will face England on June 22 and, a clash against Australia is scheduled to take place on June 24.
