For Team India, it was a historic moment as the Rohit Sharma-led side sealed a T20 World Cup title win, which has put the team back on the map. The sheer dominance was on display as they were able to stay undefeated in the tournament and eventually win it all.
Meanwhile, a gloomy update also emerged as India's cricketing titans, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, announced that they are retiring from the T20I format and that the T20 World Cup final was their last with the national side. While both of them would still feature in the ODIs and Tests, it is certainly the end of an era for Indian Cricket.
