About Arnos Vale Stadium

Owned by the Windward Islands Cricket Board, the Arnos Vale Stadium is a part of the Arnos Vale Sports Complex. While it is primarily used for cricket matches, the venue could be used as a football match as well. The venue held its first International match on February 4, 1981, and it was an ODI match between West Indies and England. The venue underwent renovations for the 2007 Cricket World Cup

Venue Facilities

Eighteen months of substantial improvements preceded the 2007 Cricket World Cup, which was hosted by the West Indies at Arnos Vale Sports Complex. An expanded playing area, a new stand, a media centre, operations centres and a pavilion on the eastern side of the field were the upgrades completed, which are some of the key facilities of the venue
