'There are better players than Dinesh Karthik': Sourav Ganguly's no-nonsense take on DK's selection

Since IPL 2024 was touted as grand audition for ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Dinesh Karthik's name was getting leeway from performances he was putting in for RCB. Polarising views on Dinesh Karthik's omission from World Cup side have been developed, and now to give balance to one side, former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has weighed in on subject.
Recently, Dinesh Karthik h expressed his desire to return to Indian side in context of T20 World Cup, but Ganguly said selectors me right choice by selecting Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson as wicketkeeper batters.

“Dinesh played well but re are better players than Dinesh. I don’t think you can leave Sanju or Rishabh out. re are better players than Dinesh Karthik at moment,” Ganguly told PTI here on sidelines of a promotional event.

Dinesh Karthik was a part of India side that played in ICC T20 World Cup 2022. He was an active member of playing XI during group stage of tournament but on big stage in semi-final against England, he was replaced by Rishabh Pant. Ever since n, Dinesh Karthik hasn't received any India call-up. So, is it end of ro for DK on international stage?
