Thomas Muller dons Team India's World Cup jersey, wishes Rohit Sharma & Co. for semi-final - WATCH

Ahead of Team India's semi final clash against New Zealand in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, a special video message has arrived from Thomas Muller for the team.

The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is not only limited to the teams and spectators of the 10 nations that participated in it rather as the name says, it is a world cup, thus, it is a global affair. The evidence of it came from Europe, where Germany and Bayern Munich footballer, Thomas Muller, endorsed Team India and sent his wishes to the Men in Blue.

Thomas Muller receives Team India's jersey

In a video post on X, Thomas Muller could be seen opening a squared hamper. On the box, the logos of BCCI and Adidas were inscribed, hence, it was not tough to guess what was inside it. Muller soon revealed it and it turned out to be the Blue Jersey of Team India. Muller's name was written on the back of the uniform, and just like his Bavarian outfit it was jersey number 25.

Muller expressed delight in receiving the gift and extended his support to Team India ahead of their World Cup 2023 semi-final clash against New Zealand.

"Thank you Team India for the shirt, and good luck at the World Cup. It is a pleasure. I have to try to play cricket in my garden. Thank you:" said Muller while putting on Team India's jersey over Bayern Munich's.

In the caption of the post, Muller tagged Virat Kohli and once again sent his wishes to the team.

Brief about Team India

Thomas Muller made his debut for Germany in 2010. He has till now played 125 matches for the national team, scoring 45 goals in the process. At the club level, he is a foremost part of the Bundesliga's most successful club, Bayern Munich. The player has made 452 appearances for the club and has scored 145 goals for the club.
