'We have prepared for this day': Rohit Sharma opens up on India's preparations ahead of CWC final

Rohit Sharma and Co. have been ruthless and unstoppable in their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign so far and are yet to lose a match in the tournament. The Indian team has won ten out of ten games ahead of the IND vs AUS CWC 2023 final and now is just one win shy of levelling Australia's giant World Cup record.

Rohit Sharma opens up on India's preparations ahead of CWC final

Team India has choked on crucial occasions in the last eight ICC knockout matches they have played in ten years. The Indian team played well in the whole competition but was not able to cross the wall of the semi-final or final. However, the ‘Men in Blue’ have played with a different character in the CWC 2023 so far and deserve a place in the finals. Indian captain Rohit Sharma also threw light on India's preparations ahead of the summit clash and said in the pre-match press conference: 

We have prepared for this day ever since I became the captain. We had to identify players in the last 2 years, as per the formats. We had given role clarity and lots of discussions between the captain and coach. The importance of role clarity is huge for us reaching this platform. We have tried our best to keep the mindset and roles clear. So far so good, hopefully tomorrow as well.

Who win the battle of Ahmedabad? 

The Australian team started off its ODI World Cup 2023 campaign with a loss against India and South Africa and their tournament campaign went away from the track. However, the team regained the momentum soon and has played some brilliant cricket since then. India on the other hand have performed as a team in the tournament so far and might also be the favourites to win the World Cup trophy.
