World Test Championship Points Table: Updated WTC standings before IND vs AUS 4th Test

Team India is up against Australia in fourth Test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023, at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, from March 9 onwards. India eyes a 3-1 series victory by winning Ahmedabad Test, while also eyeing qualification for ICC World Test Championship final. While Australia sealed ir spot in WTC final by winning third Test in Indore, a win for India will make m second team to reach summit clash.

Ahead of fourth Test, Australia tops standings with 11 wins, three losses, and four draws. Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 is sixth series for both India and Australia in ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle. In meantime, Rohit Sharma-led India is second in standings prior to Ahmedabad Test with 10 wins, five defeats, and two draws.

Sri Lanka comes as only threat for Team India

Aussies currently have a points percent of 68.52, having earned 148 points in total so far. On or hand, India is second in ICC WTC points table with a points percent of 60.29, courtesy of India's tally of 123 points. While India will qualify for final by winning fourth Test, a draw or loss will see m getting challenged by ne or than Sri Lanka.

In order to qualify for summit clash, Sri Lanka must win two-match Test series against New Zealand by 2-0. Sri Lanka has a points percent of 53.33 with 64 points after winning five, losing four, and drawing one match. In meantime, South Africa, England, and Pakistan follow Lankan side in points table ahead of fourth Test between India and Australia.
