After enduring back-to-back losses in the first two T20s, India pulled it back and draw level by convincing victories in the following two matches. However, in the final match, Windies produced their A-game and, thereby won the series 3-2. Following the loss, India captain Hardik Pandya expressed his thoughts on the way things went in Florida and the entire tour. Pandya admits the error and his role in the loss but also made it known that, "one series here or there doesn't matter but the commitment to the goal is important."
