India's Test wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, one of two cricketers in team to have had pink-ball experience previously, awaits new challenge for team when y lock horns with Bangladesh. India will play its first-ever Day-Night Test game at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata on vember 22. Newly elected BCCI President Sourav Ganguly anunced historic decision after Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) gave a d to Sourav Ganguly's proposal. this would be first-time Virat Kohli and his team will play with pink-ball and in a day-night Test contest.

Wriddhiman Saha is stranger to pink-ball in longer format of game as he has had prior experience with it in domestic cricket tournaments. Recounting his experience, Wriddhiman Saha said that he did t remember much of it but he did feel tough to pick up ball after a while, he said as per media reports. Wriddhiman Saha revealed that Indian teammate Mohammad Shami also has experience with pink ball while y played for Mohun Bagan. Accepting new challenge, Wriddhiman Saha said that challenges had also bettered team and refore he was looking forward to new challenge of pink-ball alongside playing first-ever Day-Night Test in India.

Ganguly thanks Virat Kohli for cooperation
Former Indian cricket captain and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly on Tuesday, October 29, thanked Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli for his co-operation after Bangladesh Cricket Board agreed on BCCI's proposal to play a day-night test match in upcoming series. India's first day-night test will be played from vember 22 to vember 26 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. BCCI president had earlier requested BCB on late Sunday if y were keen to play under lights as "it was high time that two nations played Day-Night version." BCB officials accepted proposal on Tuesday after consulting its team manment and players.

Beginning of something special: Ganguly
In a BCCI statement, Ganguly, said: “I’m pleased to anunce that our long-term partner BCB has graciously agreed to play a Day-Night Test match. This is beginning of something special in Indian cricket. It is a priority for newly elected Office Bearers and members of Apex Council to take Indian cricket forward. For me, as former Captain of India and as current President of BCCI, Test cricket is of utmost priority and we at BCCI will leave stone unturned to bring this format back to its feet. I also thank India Captain Mr. Virat Kohli for his co-operation." "In this effort of ours, Day-Night Test cricket is a huge step forward and we believe it will bring back crowd into stadiums and a whole lot of young children to sport", he added.
