It looks like wait to see Captain Cool back on field just got longer as Indian Premier League (IPL) has been suspended until April 15 in wake of vel coronavirus threat. MS Dhoni had joined Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) training camp on March 3rd and trained for over a week until camp had been suspended on March 14. MS Dhoni has been on a sabbatical from game since India's exit from World Cup in previous year and it is said to be that former skipper will decide on future course of his career after IPL. wait to see MS Dhoni back on field, in a setting similar to how a general directing his troops surrounded by thousands of fans chanting just one name will get a little longer.

In what can be called a mini-goodbye, CSK skipper interacted with fans, ground staff and team manment before bidding goodbye to m until league resumed. In a video shared on social media by side's handle, MS Dhoni is seen talking to fans, signing autographs for m and waving at m. ground staff at Madras Cricket Association (Chepauk) shower love on ir beloved Thala, reminding him that this too had become his home.

'IPL will happen'

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly confirmed that Indian Premier League will take place this year, although it will be truncated, after meeting with franchise owners on Saturday. In wake of threat of vel Coronavirus, BCCI had anunced on Thursday to suspend IPL till April 15, complying with directives issued by Health Ministry as well as keeping in mind travel restrictions imposed on foreign nationals.  After meeting owners of franchises, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said that league will take place this year and that situation will be reviewed every week in order to chalk out future course of action.
