A sense of ecstasy broke out in the Indian camp after they sealed the match and clinched the T20 World Cup. Extraordinary scenes followed with Hardik Pandya in tears, Rohit and Virat hugging each other and the Indian players waving the Indian Tricolor. But what grabbed many eyeballs was Rohit Sharma's walk towards the World T20 trophy, a piece of silverware that managed to evade Team India for 17 odd years. Many compared it to Messi's iconic FIFA World Cup celebrations. WWE superstar Ric Flair too tweeted Rohit's video and compared it to his iconic walk. The Prime Minister of India asked Rohit about the same.
