Yuzvendra Chahal has been one of India's premier spinners from the last couple of years. His partnership with the chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav has been very instrumental and has also won a lot of matches for Team India in the limited-overs format. Both the spin twins or 'KulCha' as they are fondly called were not selected in the Indian squad for the three-match T20Is against South Africa. Speaking about Yuzi Chahal, he is not playing in the ongoing Test series against South Africa. In fact, he is yet to make his debut in red-ball cricket. However, that has not stopped him from providing entertainment to his fans and no it was not through his famous segment 'Chahal TV'.

Chahal trolls Quinton de Kock

Chahal is currently playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy but there was a strange incident from Quinton de Kock during the first Test which prompted him to make his presence felt on social media. It so happened that on Day 4 of the opening Test, an image of Quinton de Kock relaxing on the ground was shown which went viral on social media. Coincidentally, his pose was similar to that of Chahal.

For those who are unaware of this, Yuzvendra Chahal was spotted relaxing in an iconic pose inside the boundary during India's final ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 league game against Sri Lanka in July. That picture has become viral and a lot of memes were created. After watching de Kock imitating him, the wrist-spinner took to Twitter and told the stumper-batsman that it was not his cup of tea.

Quinton de Kock, on the other hand, had scored a spectacular century in the first innings (111) along with opener Dean Elgar (160) after the Proteas were reduced to 63/4. However, he failed to trouble the scorers in the second innings.

India puncture Proteas' spirit

Chasing a target of 395, South Africa were 11/1 at stumps and when they resumed their innings on Day 5, their chase never really took off as the Indian bowlers picked up wickets at regular intervals reducing them to 70/8. Just when it appeared that Virat Kohli & Co. would wrap things up very quickly, two of the lower-order batsmen Senuran Muthusamy and Dane Piedt delayed the inevitable with a 91-run stand for the ninth wicket. Dane Piedt was castled by Mohammed Shami for a well-made 56 while Muthusamy remained unbeaten on 49 as the visitors were bundled out for 191. Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami starred for India with the ball. Jadeja picked up 4/87 at an economy of 3.48 which included six maidens while Shami picked up a fifer i.e. 5/35 at an economy rate of 3.23 including two maidens. Rohit Sharma was adjudged Man of the Match for his sparkling tons in both innings.
