Indian cricket team leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal faced a disappointing snub from the Indian cricket team for the Asia Cup 2023. Chahal is also not part of Team India's probable squad for the ODI World Cup 2023. Chahal was part of the Indian team for the West Indies tour but didn't perform well and took five wickets from 5 T20Is.

Yuzvendra Chahal meets Bageshwar Dham Sarkar after Team India snub 

After being snubbed from the Indian cricket team, leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal met Bageshwar Dham Sarkar aka Dhirendra Shastri, in the Sikar district of Rajasthan. Chahal shared the video on his official 'X' handle and wrote, "Jai Sita Ram". 

The Indian cricket team selection committee has picked wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav above Yuzvendra Chahal due to his consistent performance in international cricket off late. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel are the other two spin-bowling all-rounders. 

Will dropping Yuzvendra Chahal hurt Team India in the ODI World Cup? 

The Indian cricket team will begin their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against Australia at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The ground is famous for its slow pitch and spinners play a big role at the venue. The Indian cricket team will also play in spin-friendly venues like Lucknow and Kolkata.
