Dana White claims Dustin Poirier agreed for Conor McGregor fight in January 2021
Dana White revealed that the company reached out to both McGregor & Poirier to have their charity fight in the promotion and recently Poirier agreed to terms.

A couple of days ago, Dana White had a public scuffle with Cor McGregor after torious One tweeted some screenshots of private chats he had with UFC President on Instagram. Dana White called out Cor McGregor for “dirty” move, while former UFC champion labelled White as a “liar”. After that, Irishman worked out an exhibition bout for charity with UFC star Dustin Poirier, set to take place in December under Cor McGregor’s “McGregor Sports & Entertainment” banner – meaning bout will take place outside UFC.

Later, Dana White revealed that UFC has reached out to both fighters to schedule charity fight in promotion and Dustin Poirier has agreed to ir terms. However, he added that company is still waiting for Cor McGregor’s reply, who retired from sport earlier this year. According to various reports, after recent controversy, UFC would have to spend a lot of money to make Cor McGregor agree to ir terms.
“y've been offered a fight to fight in January (2021). Dustin Poirier accepted, we're supposed to hear from Cor (soon),” Dana White said in an interview with UFC Arabia.

McGregor next fight: Private chats between Dana White and Cor McGregor
In viral screenshots, Cor McGregor and Dana White were seen talking about former's much-awaited return. While McGregor showed interest in fighting Diego Sanchez and Justin Gaethje in his return bouts, Dana White was t on same p as him. Though conversation between two was t controversial, Dana White showed disconcert in Cor McGregor sharing his private messs, claiming that former champion “broke a man code”.

A few weeks ahead of back-and-forth, Dana White claimed that promotion is doing some “fun stuff” for Cor McGregor in 2021. However, after incident, plans were scrapped. In an interview with Barstool Sports, Dana White said that promotion had planned for Cor McGregor to coach upcoming season of TUF ( Ultimate Fighter) with his biggest foe, Khabib Nurmagomedov. two icons even agreed to work toger, but Khabib Nurmagomedov pulled out, citing McGregor’s recent attempt to undermine UFC boss.
