Drew Brees walks comeback trail as Saints QB returns for 2020 NFL season
At 41 years of age, Saints fans feared that Drew Brees would call an end to his NFL career. However, the Saints star has announced he will return for 2020.

New Orleans Saints fans will have been forgiven for thinking that end was nigh for veteran quarterback Drew Brees. However, star quarterback has w put delayed his retirement for at least one year. Drew Brees took to Instagram to anunce that he would be returning to Saints for upcoming NFL season.

Drew Brees returns to Saints' fold ahead of 1-month timeline
Earlier this year, New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President Mickey Loomis publicly stated that Saints wanted Drew Brees to return to Mercedes-Benz Superdome as its starting quarterback. At Pro Bowl game in recently concluded season, Drew Brees declared that he would come to a decision in a month's time regarding his future. It w seems that Saints veteran QB has come to a decision well before one-month timeline set by 41-year-old himself.

It would also carve an opportunity for Brees to go out Peyton Manning way by winning Super Bowl in final game of his NFL career.
